Ascendant Orcas

The finished canvas measures 15" x 22.5" and has been designed using Paternayan tapestry wool. The background is a range of whites, leading to grey. The orcas are stitched in a rich range of greys, combined with black. To imitate the spray, lighter colors have been interspersed; tiny beads (included) are then stitched over selected light stitches, giving a sense of the moisture in the air.

We recommend Zweigart penelope or interlock canvas, 10 holes per inch, 19" x 26.5". The actual size of the art is 15" x 22.5". (This canvas size allows for a 2" border around the work, for stretching and finishing.)
