Mother Night

The finished canvas measures 16" x 20.2" and has been designed using an evening blue from the Appleton palette, with a pale yellow moon and strong yellow robe for Mother Night.

The stars are a mixture of half stitches, some with small overlaid glass beads to imitate the sparkle of the stars.

The outlines of the faces are done in crewel weight wool, to capture the artist's unique facial designs.

We recommend Zweigart penelope canvas, 10 holes per inch, also known as 10 count, 20" x 24". (This canvas size allows for a border around the work, for stretching and finishing.)

Mother Night can also be a cushion, if done on 12 count canvas. The finished canvas size is 13.4" x 16.8" and we recommend Zweigart penelope canvas, 12 holes per inch, also known as 12 count, 17.5" x 21". The pattern sells for $20.00 Cdn and the kit sells for $139.00.
