They Claimed the Night

The finished canvas measures 20" x 15.9"; the background has been designed using a rich range of greens from the Anchor palette, with black and white for the loons. Included in the pattern package is the burnt orange wool for the eyes.

Penelope canvas allows us to achieve unique detail in needlepoint. In this piece, the eyes, as well as the black and white plumage on the neck and back of the loons, is accomplished by a few simple half stitches which penelope canvas allows.

We recommend Zweigart penelope canvas, 10 holes per inch, 24" x 20". The actual size of the art is 20" x 15.9". (This canvas size allows for a 2" border around the work, for stretching and finishing.)
