Ancestral Teachings

The finished canvas measures 22" x 22.2" and has been designed using  Appleton tapestry wool.  The crewel wool for the outlines of the faces is included in the pattern package.

Penelope canvas allows us to achieve unique detail in needlepoint. In this piece, the details in the faces are accomplished by a few simple half stitches. We recommend Zweigart penelope canvas, 10 holes per inch, 28" x 28.5". The actual size of the art is 22" x 22.2". This canvas size allows for a 2" border around the work, for stretching and finishing.)
